System Requirements
The Digipede Network is designed to scale efficiently, from small workgroups with just a few computers to large enterprises managing thousands of machines. The table below outlines the key requirements for the Professional Edition.
The main distinction between the two editions is their scale. The Team Edition is designed for installations with up to 20 Agents, making it ideal for small businesses or individual departments within larger organizations. This version has a smaller system footprint, as the Digipede Server for Team Edition does not require Microsoft SQL Server and can operate on a workstation running Windows XP or Vista.
The Digipede Network Professional Edition has no limit on the number of Agents, allowing them to be allocated to different resource pools (e.g., an Accounting Department pool, Desktop Only pool, or After Hours pool). This software is suitable for small firms, larger departments, or entire Fortune 100 organizations that need to utilize hundreds or even thousands of computers for various applications. The Digipede Server requires Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server 2008 or higher.
